Moth Deterrent

If you see signs of moth damage on your rugs, or if you see tiny beige moths flying around your home, call us to inspect your textiles!

If we determine that moths are present, we’ll wrap up and remove any infested items for moth deterrent treatment, deep cleaning, and a repair assessment.

Once those textiles have been removed, you may need to call in a professional pest control company to inspect your home for further treatment.

How can I tell if I have moths in my rug?

Some obvious signs of a moth infestation in your area rugs include:

• Odd patches of missing face fibers
• Loose yarns that pull out while vacuuming
• Strands of white, sticky webbing
• Sticky cocoons about the size of a grain of rice
• Wriggly larvae
• Small beige moths flying around your home, especially near a wool or silk textile
