I spot cleaned where my dog had an accident on my rug but now it’s starting to smell bad. Is this something you can take care of for me?
The problem with spot cleaning at home is that you are never really able to reach all the way through the fibers of your rug to the back – that’s where the largest portion of the pet stain is absorbed and held. When we flush out your rug with fresh water and treat those areas with targeted enzymatic cleaning, we are able to remove the odor-causing bacteria and return your rug smelling fresh.
Pet urine stains, if left untreated, will eventually cause rotted foundation fiber damage. In these extreme cases, where pet stains have built up on top of pet stains, we may recommend replacement over cleaning.
